Alien Workshop

Alien Workshop was founded by Chris Carter, Mike Hill, and Neil Blender in 1990. After over 30 years in the industry, multiple owners and distribution facilities, and a brief hiatus in 2014, Alien Workshop is alive and well. Fittingly enough the brand has moved operational headquarters back to where it all began; in a decommissioned nuclear bunker facility in Dayton, Ohio.

Full length features such as “Memory Screen” in 1991 and “Photosynthesis” in 2000 solidified Alien Workshop as a well-respected brand amongst skaters. Later down the road heavyweight riders such as Danny Way, Jason Dill, and Grant Taylor jumped on board and only boosted the value of Alien Workshop. And then in 2014 Alien Workshop was briefly shut down in an attempt to reorganize the company and create a leaner infrastructure that would be more sustainable in the long term.

The 2015 resurfacing of the brand meant a whole new cast of up-and-coming riders and a way to start off on a fresh foot. Alien Workshop has stuck to an individual brand image despite setbacks and bumps in the road. That brand integrity and dedicated few behind the scenes is what has preserved the Workshop legacy. Alien Workshop continues to keep things rolling in the right direction.
