Brixton

Brixton was started by three friends in Oceanside, CA in 2004. The co-founders are David Stoddard, Jason Young and Mike Chapin. Working out of Stoddard’s garage, Brixton was meticulously planned, focusing exclusively on hats and most notably a newsboy cap known as the Hooligan. It wasn’t soon after the brand was launched that local retailers were knocking on their door to place pre-book orders. At this time it was decided the crew would leave their day jobs at Transworld Magazine and commit to Brixton full time. These early successes would eventually allow the trio to expand the product line to include Brixton jackets, button-ups, and pants.

Never straying far from co-founder’s original inspiration, Brixton is driven to bring folks from different walks of life together from artists and musicians to trade workers.
